“I will be the gladdest thing under the sun! I will touch a hundred flowers and not pick one.”
-Edna St. Vincent Millay
Jamestown, ND based photographer. Big fan of the great outdoors and my spoiled rotten blue heeler, Penny. Intermittent reader of poetry. Houseplant hoarder and bonfire enthusiast.
I grew up on a little farm near Marion, North Dakota and spent my formative years surrounded by nature. I got my start in photography by spending time alongside my horses and the wildlife surrounding my family home, then later developed an interest in urban exploration.
My favorite subjects to capture are in a constant rotation. I consider myself and my work to be very fluid- I am constantly learning, growing, and changing
Photos are heirlooms for future generations. They are moments frozen in time explaining exactly who we were and how we lived. They are proof that we loved and struggled and ached and rejoiced. We are all connected in some way, and I truly believe that every soul has a story worth telling. I’d love to help you tell yours.
If you want to get to know me better, ask me about firefighting, hermit crabs, or that time I spent a week sleeping in a bear den. Or like, just shoot me a message about photos, that works too.
